Copy the licence key from the email you got after buying, open Aegisrook, paste the key and click Activate. The key is checked on your Mac itself: there’s no account, and it works offline.
Activate Aegisrook
- Open the email from Aegisrook and copy the whole licence key. It’s one long line of letters, numbers and a few symbols, such as dots and dashes.
- Open Aegisrook. Until a key is entered, it shows only the licence screen.
- Click Paste, or click in the box and press ⌘ V.
- Click Activate.
Aegisrook opens straight away, and then shows its welcome and setup list.
How many Macs
One licence covers three Macs you own. Enter the same key on each one.
If the key isn’t accepted
- Copy all of it. The key is long; make sure nothing was cut off at either end. Spaces and line breaks in or around it don’t matter.
- Use the key from the email, not the order number or receipt number.
- Lost the email? Get your key again.
See or remove your licence
Open Settings and choose the Help & Reset tab. The Licence section shows who the licence belongs to and when it was bought. Remove Licence… takes it off this Mac, for example before you move to a new Mac. Your settings and history are kept.
